YOUR SCORECARD
Both twosomes competing in a match should keep a scorecard. Following the match,
compare cards to insure the scores are correct and then decide who will turn in their
card to the scorer (the other card should be saved until results are posted on the
web). A member from both teams should sign the card. The card can be given to Bruce
Rosenbaum if he is at the course. Otherwise, scan the card and e-mail it to Bruce
at RosenbaumB@aol.com.
WHEN FILLING OUT YOUR SCORECARD
- Include the last name of each player.
- Write the names of the two teams somewhere on the card.
- Clearly mark "SUB" next to the name of a player who is playing as a substitute.
- Write the scores clearly on the card.
- If you are forced to pickup on a hole under the rules, mark your score as an "X".
- You don't have to determine the outcome of your match. The league scorer will do
that for you.
- If the players calculate the outcome of their match and an error is made (even if
both teams sign-off on the scorecard), the scorer will make the correction and the
match will be decided accordingly.
